Helena, MT – Today, the Montana Democratic Party Chair Shannon O’Brien released the following statement:

“The mission of the Montana Democratic Party is to support candidates who run as Democrats. Full stop. We do not support candidates outside of the party, and our bylaws prevent us from doing so. The Montana Democratic Party is more energized than ever and continues leading on the issues that matter most to Montanans: expanding access to healthcare, lowering costs for working families, fighting for public education, and protecting our freedoms. We are unified in our values and focused on winning races regardless of who chooses to run outside the party.”
