Helena, MT - The Montana Democratic Party released the following statement regarding the newly appointed Vice Chair of the Montana Democratic Party Executive Board, Bruce Knutson:


“On Thursday night, the Montana Democratic Party Executive Board voted to appoint Bruce Knutson to fill the Vice Chair vacancy. Bruce is a veteran, public lands supporter, and a Montana Democrat through and through. We’re lucky to have his passion and expertise on the Executive Board and know he will help guide the party through the hard work we have ahead.”

Bruce Knutson Bio

Bruce Knutson is a lifelong Montanan, U.S. Navy and Army National Guard veteran, and Democrat who has spent his career serving our country and the people of Montana. He previously worked as the Veterans Liaison for U.S. Senator Jon Tester, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Montana, and as a state game warden with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. 

Bruce lives in Helena and is committed to a stronger, more united Democratic Party that reflects Montana’s values and is focused on the future.
