Helena, MT— Today, on the 53rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, the Montana Democratic Party is urging Montana’s federal delegation and statewide leaders to protect reproductive rights and access to abortion.

“Montanans have made themselves unmistakably clear: They support reproductive freedom for women, and they don’t want out-of-touch Republican politicians getting between them and their healthcare,” said Interim Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party, Justin Ailport. “Yet, MTGOP leaders continue to ignore the will of Montanans by pushing their dangerous, extremist agenda that threatens women at a local, state, and national level. The Montana Democratic Party will always stand with women to defend their right to privacy and bodily autonomy, and we’ll never back down  against anyone who tries to take those freedoms away.”
