Obama signs law to improve veterans healthcare funding

Thursday President Obama signed into law a bipartisan bill that aims to improve health care for America's veterans. The law allows Congress to fund veterans' health care a year in advance, making the funding more reliable. Senator Jon Tester was one of the supporters of the measure. He says the measure will take some of the uncertainty out of veterans' health care funding.

How to get tickets to the Presidential Townhall in Bozeman

 

The White House asked us to pass along the information to get Townhall tickets for the President's Bozeman Visit.  Info below...

  

Members of the general public: The event is free and open to the public.  Tickets are required and will be available at the following ticket distribution location beginning at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13.  Tickets will be limited to two per person and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

For security reasons, do not bring bags and limit personal items.  No signs or banners permitted.  All attendees will go through airport-like security.  Due to limited space at the event the White House will only be able to fulfill a limited number of requests for tickets. Tickets are not for sale or re-sale.

 

General Public Parking: Limited, but on site.
