2007 Montana Democratic Party Officers Convention
Montana is on the move. With the leadership of Senator Max Baucus, Governor Brian Schweitzer, Senator Jon Tester and all of our Democratic elected officials, we are indeed living in an exciting time for Democrats in Montana. This year Democrats secured permanent property tax relief for working families ; created better-paying jobs; provided affordable, quality healthcare, and made public school classrooms and affordable higher education a top priority. We delivered a sustainable state budget with a strong ending-fund balance – all without raising taxes one dime. Hats off to all our elected Democrats for a job well done for Montana. Join us for the 2007 Officers Convention. We will elect a Chair, Vice-Chair and members of the Party’s Executive Board, and celebrate our victories while preparing for 2008 and beyond. Democratic Party officers will have critical work ahead, as well as unprecedented opportunities to re-elect Senator Max Baucus and Governor Brian Schweitzer, to defeat Dennis Rehberg and Brad Johnson, and to elect solid majorities to the Montana House and Senate.
