Helena, Mont.-- Ted Dick, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, released the following statement regarding the start of the state's 62nd legislative session.
"We applaud the Democrats in the Montana Legislature for their focused commitement to boosting the economy and bringing new jobs to our state. Because of Democrats' leadership, Montana is operating in the black with an attractive business climate. But we still have work to do. Montana Democrats are on the right path to creating good-paying jobs by focusing on our values: building a strong economy with strong small businesses, access to good public education and health care, living within our means, and creating new opportunities for middle-class families."
