Zinke losing ground in Montana while Juneau climbs
A new independent national report shows Congressman Ryan Zinke is losing ground in his home state and a Republican victory in Montana is not locked up.
The Rasmussen Report updates its assessment of the Montana at-large Congressional race as a competitive one.
The report comes on the heels of the announcement that Superintendent of Public Instruction and House Candidate Denise Juneau set another fundraising record this fiscal quarter, collecting almost $363,000 in donations from everyday Montanans who believe in her candidacy.
Meanwhile, a report by ProPublica shows the vast majority of donors to Zinke’s SEALS PAC for the first quarter have no employer/occupation status listed.
“Montanans are clearly recognizing that Congressman Zinke’s interests are self-serving,” said Kristen Cates, spokesperson for the Montana Democratic Party. “Denise Juneau has and will continue to be a champion for the whole state.”
