Zinke fails leadership test, skips vote on North Korea sanctions
HELENA -- Congressman Ryan Zinke skipped a vote in February to slap sanctions on North Korea for its aggressive military action.
Last week, North Korea conducted weapons testing that the international community sees as a threat to U.S. allies in the region.
"Congressman Zinke says he's a leader but when the time comes to do his job, he's noticeably absent," said Montana Democratic Party Executive Director Nancy Keenan. "Montanans want someone who will work to keep them safe around the clock, not just when it fits into Congressman Zinke's schedule."
