TAKE THE CAKE: One Year Ago Today Montana Learned of Greg Gianforte's Anti-Public Lands Record

HELENA -- Montana sportsmen and the Montana Democratic Party today sent an anniversary cake to New Jersey multimillionaire and failed gubernatorial candidate Greg Gianforte to mark one year since news broke that he sued Montana to eliminate a public stream access easement near his mansion in Bozeman.

On May 10, 2016, the Missoulian broke news that Gianforte sued the state of Montana in 2009 to eliminate a public right of way. Since then, through misleading ads and fake sportsmen photo shoots, Gianforte has struggled to explain this lawsuit against the people of Montana to eliminate this public access site.
While Gianforte may want to forget May 10, 2016, Montanans never will.
