Bullock Leads Fight for Paycheck Equality, Gianforte Opposes Paycheck Fairness Act

As Steve Bullock rolls out new initiatives designed to close the wage gap for Montana's women, New Jersey multimillionaire Greg Gianforte refuses to support the Paycheck Fairness Act.

"Greg Gianforte's refusal to support the notion of guaranteeing equal pay for equal work hurts Montana's women and our growing economy--and it reflects values that certainly aren't Montana values," said Jason Pitt, a spokesperson for the Montana Democratic Party. "From the moment Steve Bullock took office, he's led the charge to close Montana's wage gap. Gianforte and his dangerous agenda simply doesn't include equal pay for equal work for women."

Additionally, Gianforte donated thousands of dollars to irresponsible legislators who voted to kill the Paycheck Fairness Act last legislative session:

  • $160 - Elsie Arntzen
  • $170 - Mark Blasdel
  • $290 - John Brenden
  • $160 - Dee Brown
  • $500 - Kris Hansen
  • $340 - Jedediah Hinkle
  • $160 - Brian Hoven
  • $490 - Doug Kary
  • $3,890 - Matt Rosendale
  • $160 - Scott Sales
  • $170 - Cary Smith
  • $320 - Janna Taylor
  • $170 - Gordon Vance
  • $160 - Chas Vincent
  • $160 - Roger Webb
