Rosendale tried to block Montanans' access to healthcare
HELENA -- When it comes to supporting bi-partisan legislation to improve the health of Montanans, Republican Matt Rosendale is nowhere to be found.
More than 45,000 Montanans now have access to healthcare thanks to the bipartisan HELP Act. Steve Bullock brought Republicans and Democrats together in 2015 to bring home our taxpayer dollars and expand affordable health care coverage for tens of thousands of Montanans. Matt Rosendale and other extreme Republicans voted against this bill [SB 405; 4/18/2015].
“Matt Rosendale is out-of-touch with what Montanans need in order to support their families and help grow our economy,” said Nancy Keenan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. “Matt's partisan blinders are preventing him from seeing the very real needs of everyday Montanans. We need a State Auditor who will stand up for Montanans – not stand in the way, like Matt Rosendale.”
