Rosendale Continues to Rack Up Endorsements from Washington Special Interests
Helena – Washington special interest groups continue to line up behind Maryland real estate developer Matt Rosendale in the GOP primary. Today, he received the backing of the controversial Senate Conservatives Fund, yet another sign that he’s the wrong choice for U.S. Senate.
SCF is a group responsible for helping elect some of Washington’s most conservative politicians. They join the Club for Growth, another Washington special interest group, in endorsing Rosendale.
Both cite Rosendale’s opposition of Montana’s bipartisan Medicaid expansion…something which is helping keep Montana’s rural hospitals afloat and has helped the state save money.
“Matt Rosendale supports a health care plan that would increase premiums while driving costs up, he’s against a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, and he’s even fought against more disclosure of dark money by special interest groups,” said Chris Meagher, spokesman for the Montana Democratic Party. “These endorsements only go to show that Rosendale would be the wrong choice for Senate.”
