Montana Democrats Announce New Senior Communications Advisor
HELENA – Today, the Montana Democratic Party announced that Chris Meagher has joined its team as senior communications advisor, with a focus on the 2018 Senate race.
Chris most recently worked as senior communications advisor at the Colorado Democratic Party, where he helped re-elect Sen. Michael Bennet. Prior to that, he was a communications manager for General Motors and the communications director for Rep. Lois Capps. Before that, he spent seven years as a newspaper reporter. He is also related to Thomas Francis Meagher, who was governor of the Territory of Montana.
“Chris will be an important addition to our team as we look forward to a successful 2018 election cycle,” said Nancy Keenan, Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party. “2018 will be a critical year for our state and for our country, and we are excited to have Chris on our team as we look to re-elect Sen. Jon Tester so that he can continue to work on behalf of Montanans in Washington.”
