Latest MT Republican tactic: Attack young Montanans
Republican Party Chairman and sitting State Representative Jeff Essmann's petty attack on colleague
HELENA -- The Montana Republican Party hit a new low when they launched a petty attack on Rep. Jacob Bachmeier (D-Havre), who is leading by example and inspiring young people across the country to get involved in public service.
"Chairman Essmann and the Montana Republican Party should be ashamed for attacking a young man dedicated to serving his constituents and our state," said Nancy Keenan, Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party. "This is yet another reminder of why millennials across the state continue to reject the dangerous policies of the Republican Party at the ballot box."

Representative Jeff Essmann (R-Billings) is the current Chairman of the Montana Republican Party and oversees activities, such as Twitter attacks on his colleagues. Additionally, Rep. Derek Skees had used these words to describe young people who want to be election judges (VIDEO):
"...between the age of 16 and 18, I would suggest that the mental growth might not be there enough to withhold the importance of that job."
An apology, at the least, is expected from Rep. Essmann and the Montana Republican Party for their distasteful attack on a young public servant working hard on behalf of his constituents.
