Zinke Comes Back from Hollywood with New flip-flops for Texas
Zinke attempts to re-write history...again
(Helena, MT) – Fresh off a fundraising trip to Los Angeles, California, former super PAC chairman Ryan Zinke has new flip-flops to try out as he heads for the border.
Former super PAC Chairman Ryan Zinke was recently calling for Marines to invade Mexico. Now, he’s saying it was just a joke, making it unclear what he is actually advocating doing to address the jailing of a former Marine.
The flip-flop is just the latest of a series of gaffes championed by the floundering Zinke campaign.
“Ryan Zinke’s campaign motto should be more politics, less honesty. Zinke wants to have it both ways on a woman’s right to choose, climate change, the second amendment, education, even debates and his role in his former super PAC. His flip-flops have become infamous,” said Bryan Watt, spokesperson for the Montana Democratic Party. “If Montanans can’t trust Zinke to be honest on the campaign trail, how can they expect him to be honest in Congress.”
The only thing consistent about Zinke is his willingness to say whatever is necessary to help him politically. He has a long history of flip-flopping on issues important to Montanans. He has auditioned different positions on choice, on his belief in and disbelief of climate change, and on where Second Amendment Rights should be applicable. He's even flip-flopped on the Billings Gazette debate agreeing to the debate before backing out for no apparent reason.
