Montanans springing into action for Quist on Saturday

HELENA -- Tomorrow Montanans all across the state will be out in our communities talking to voters about Rob Quist for Congress in the upcoming special election.

More than 10,000 Montanans marched on the Helena Capitol in January and countless more have been calling and demanding action from their leaders in Washington D.C. Volunteers are stepping up this weekend to participate in Saturday’s Day of Action.

From Miles City to Kalispell, volunteers will be out knocking doors on behalf of Rob Quist, Montana’s next Congressman.

“It’s amazing how many Montanans across this state are stepping up to help elect Rob Quist,” said Nancy Keenan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. “Montanans want an independent voice in Congress who will represent Montana's values."

Quist will be joining volunteers in Helena and Butte as well for the Day of Action.

“It’s been amazing and humbling to see the renewed activism across the state and people interested in this election,” said Quist. “Everywhere I go, Montanans are asking how they can help with my campaign, because they know how important it is to have someone in Congress who will fight for them.
